Daniel W. Muchnick, CPA, CFP®

danDan graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting and began his career in Atlanta with Price Waterhouse. In 1981, after working a few years with another Atlanta firm, he started his own firm with a partner in Douglasville. 14 years later, he merged his firm with Pyke & Pierce and then merged again with the regional firm of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland in 2000.

Dan’s experience with CB&H, a premiere tax, audit and consulting firm, included business consulting with individuals and closely held, owner-managed businesses as well as extensive experience with estate and retirement planning.  Dan’s ability to serve clients in these areas is enhanced by his training and certification as a Certified Financial Planner. His wide range of experience and wealth of industry-specific knowledge benefit large and small business clients alike, including those in the medical and legal industries, where he has particular expertise.

Dan lives in Douglasville with his wife, Juli, and has three grown sons.  He has been actively involved in the local community as a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Douglas County Chamber, where he has served as president and chairman of the board. He is a member of the Douglasville First Baptist Church and has served as Chairman of the Deacons. In addition, he serves on the board of PRC Medical and the board of the Bedford School, as well as the Douglas County Chamber finance committee. Dan is an avid sports fan and who follows the Atlanta Braves, St Louis Cardinals, and Georgia Tech.
