Lisa Yancey, CPA

Lisa Yancey is a seasonal tax accountant with HMA. In her role, she serves a variety of small and medium sized businesses, as well as individuals, with their accounting and taxation needs. Her public accounting career started over 30 years ago as a college intern. While learning the ropes of accounting, she earned her B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting from Shorter College, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

After graduation she decided to plant roots personally and professionally in her hometown of Douglasville, where she is a fourth generation Douglas County resident with her husband, Gregg, and their two children. Along with the title of CPA, Lisa is a teacher and educator, as she provides in-home education to her children, as well as teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Douglasville where she also sings in the choir. She also enjoys cooking and reading, and with her family enjoys boating and sailing, hiking, and vacationing in the National Parks.
